Tjhoko Champs 2020

Antiquing, distressing, white-washing, colour-blocking…
Show us your Tjhoko Paint project and you could win awesome prizes.

The chalk paint trend just keeps on growing! And whether you’ve decorated an old piece of furniture or revamped a melamine kitchen with Tjhoko Paint, we want to showcase your creativity.

Proudly South African Tjhoko Paint has enthusiasts redecorating their homes all over the country.

Because it’s self-sealing and requires no sanding before application, transforming something old into something new and beautiful has never been easier. Show us what you’ve done and you could be SA’s Tjhoko Champ!

Not only that but you also stand a chance of winning fantastic prizes – and being featured in Home as an inspiration to all our readers.

How it works

To enter, all you have to do is jazz something up with Tjhoko Paint, take a picture and upload it to the “enter” section of the website. Then fill out the form with the details of your project and hit “submit”.

You can enter anything from a set of napkins stencilled with Tjhoko Paint to a wardrobe intricately decorated with a layered effect. It’s up to you; the only prerequisite is that you must have used Tjhoko Paint products. And what a wide variety they have: from the versatile Stencil of Paris to a selection of glazes – and, of course, the most stunning colour range you can imagine.

Entries close at midday on the 17th of September 2020 after which readers can vote for their favourite. The Tuis I Home team will determine the Top 10, taking into account readers’ preferences, then chalk paint guru Nadine Vosloo will select the overall winner.
